Hello I have an Acer Aspire 7741Z-4643 Laptop. I've had it for (I think) 4 years. I do not remeber when I bought it. One day when I was using it the screen just went completely black. So I turned it off and then back on, and the screen was still black. Everytime I turn it on the screen was black.

It would start up like normal and when it would get to the point where you log into the computer it would go black. So I took it to my friend who works on computers and he said that my hard drive was dead. I replaced the hard drive with a 500 gb hard drive from a playstation 4 that I wiped clean using dban.
