Script written in R, a programming language used for statistical analysis and graphing purposes; contains code that can be executed within the R software environment; may contain commands that create objects (functions, values, etc.) and produce visualizations of the computed data.
I've been using Eclipse/StatET. However, there's a new FLOSS IDE that was released today that looks interesting called. It even supports Sweave, so once it becomes more polished I may switch. User input seemed a little sluggish when I played with it earlier today however.
Power Bi R Script Editor
Could someone please make me know if there is a nice script editor available under Mac, similar to Crimson, that offers R syntax highlighting (and pairs of parentheses underlining)? Thanks in advance. RStudio is an active member of the R community. Update They have been actively updating RStudio every month or two. It's been months since I encountered even a minor bug. And the features added are really useful--seamless package development and native Git support being the two that come to mind. Emancipation of a teen in kansas.
