I updated 4 My Book Studio (2TB each) and 1 My Passport Studio (500GB) using the last firmware and SmartWare updates, with success, in both PC and Mac. The only issue I had is that 2 of the My Book Studio in PC was keeping saying drive was busy (probably some software in my PC trying to read/write on them), but when I plugged them to my Mac. Wd my book studio power supply.

Hi guys, I'm new on Reddit so I hope I'm doing this right. I've been using VeraCrypt on my mac for over 7 months - I am not an expert, in fact I'm quite new using encryption tools as well. For the past few months my experience with VC was good, and I found the app quite easy to use. Mounting the container and opening the files hadn't been an issue, and the app was stable during this period. However, yesterday I upgraded my OS to 'macOS High Sierra' and after having done that I cannot mount the container any longer. When I try to mount the container (using the right password) I get the following warning: 'The installed version of FUSE is too old for the operating system. Please upgrade your FUSE installation to one that is compatible with the currently running version of macOS.'
I have no idea how to upgrade the FUSE version, I don't even know what FUSE is -as I said, I'm relatively new at using encryption tools. Could you please orient me? What can I do to fix this issue? Can this be fixed at all?
